The holidays are a great time to reflect on all that we have to be grateful for. It is a time of goodwill, being kind to your neighbors, and of giving back— all of which are core tenets of EFAA’s work year-round. This year many of our neighbors are struggling with the continued high cost of the basics. We invite you and your family to make a difference for local families by giving back to EFAA. Read on for some ways.

Holiday Food Needs
EFAA’s food bank relies on donations to help make the holidays special for families and individuals facing food insecurity. Support the food bank by shopping for EFAA online, hosting a food drive, or dropping off food donations from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Visit our shopping list here for our current food needs. You can also shop our Amazon Wish List to order the most needed holiday food items, shipped directly to EFAA! Here are some holiday food suggestions:
Holiday Gifts for Children
This year, EFAA has connected with Share-A-Gift, a 50-year-old Boulder nonprofit that provides gifts to families in need, living within Boulder Valley School District, with children aged 0-14.
Share-A-Gift will host their annual Toy Shop on Saturday, December 21, 2024. People who are interested in toy/gift donations can reach out directly to Share-A-Gift. More information can be found at shareagift.org.
Volunteering
The holiday season is a special time to volunteer with EFAA! Volunteers will help us ensure a happy holiday season during another exceptionally challenging year.
