EFAA offers groceries from our main office in Boulder on Yarmouth Avenue. In FY09, over 3,000 families visited our food bank.
When clients’ need for food is identified during the in-take interview, they are invited to shop for groceries at the food bank. We offer a variety of foodstuff including: fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, frozen meat, eggs, pasta, bread, milk, dried beans and rice. Naturally, selections vary depending on the type and amount of food donations we’ve received. The EFAA food bank is dependent on the donations of thousands of supporters. Annually, 50+ food drives are sponsored by local churches, schools, and businesses. Other area businesses give weekly or monthly food donations! These efforts all contribute to a healthful variety of food which supplement the weekly distributions we receive from Community Food Share.
