Interviewing clients to assess food, furniture, transportation and/or medical needs.

Sorting and stocking food in the food bank. Also drivers and shoppers are needed to take our truck to Community Food Share to pick up food commodities.

Guide clients through the food pantry; assist with loading groceries in to vehicles.

Assist the Household Connection program with distributing furniture donations.

Filing, accounting, mailing, data entry, spread sheets, phone calling , scheduling volunteers, and special projects .

Event planning, donor contact, decorating, designing signs and possibly serving on the EFAA Guild or Board.

Coordinating groups to collect and deliver items needed for the food pantry.

Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, organizing, cleaning and gardening.

Shelter sponsors provide household supplies and personal hygiene products monthly, and work with staff to identify other creative, helpful ways to support the program (i.e., assisting the sponsored family during the holidays with meals, gifts, apartment repairs/maintenance).
Requires a monthly check-in with the shelter caseworker.

Assist children with homework and various recreational activities.
