Kids helping kids
When kids hear that EFAA helps other children in the community, it often inspires them to creatively contribute to EFAA. Church youth groups and schools run food drives to help stock the shelves of our food bank. Children donate their lemonade stand sales, or contribute savings from their piggy banks.

Kids have formed clubs to help EFAA, collecting 50-cent dues from their pals and donating it to us. Girl Scouts have donated cookies to our food bank and even donated the proceeds from their cookie sales to EFAA.

Mitchell, a 2nd grader, stopped by last week to donate $18.64. Each week he divides up his allowance: he saves one third, spends one third, and donates one third to a charity. He’d saved up for several months, and decided to donate this third to EFAA.
